wonderful stay
easy upgrade professional staff great choice practical wetroom
i found a upgrade on arrival, and it was lovely. the staff was very professional. the evening menu offered many great choices. the accommodation was very comfortable. the wetroom was very practical, especially with a dog, i liked provided dog towels.
my room faced a busy street, so it was a little noisy at times.

the hotel provides dedicated dog-friendly amenities, and they included treats and goodies within rooms. dog towels are available, especially helpful after wet weather, with dog bowls also conveniently supplied with canine companions.

staff recommendations for local dining options proved very helpful, as the hotel bar is closed some days. i saw they were cute to dogs in the bar area. the staff members were friendly and accommodating to every guest.

dog pack covered seating attentive staff table service
this inn is dog friendly. the staff was attentive! they provided a dog pack in our room. the covered seating area outside was clean and tidy. i appreciated the table service available for food outside.
the church clock chimed on the hour after 7am which could be slightly disruptive.

The menu had a varied selection, and the fish and chips were freshly cooked with quality ingredients. The batter was crispy, and the cod was white, served with amazing freshly prepared chips. Compliments to the chef!

The staff warmly welcomed me even at the busiest dinner service time. Janine and her team, especially outside, where the setup encourages interaction with other tourists and locals.

The location is superb, providing easy access to both the town and opportunities for country walks. It is very quiet, and only the church clock can be heard, but only after 7am. It made the sleep restorative.
